Background
- The client specializes in developing cutting edge video productions for companies around the globe.
- The client was looking for a fun and entertaining trivia game that can be played on the iPad devices at trade shows and conventions
- The game must create a challenging atmosphere where participants can show off their knowledge of the Globe
Scope
- Create an easy to use admin console for client to manage all questions, answers, images and content
- Game must be timed to increase the number of participants that can enjoy an opportunity to take part of the challenge
- Completed iPad app will be installed locally on each iPad device for use
- Each question for each round of the game will be randomly generated
Solution
- Created a timed trivia game that can be played by as many as 4 players concurrently
- Participants can compete with others and climb to the top of the leader board
- Participants have 10 seconds to answer each question on a particular country. If the question is missed, the correct answer is provided along with a bonus fact. Participant with the maximum number of correct answers is declared the winner.
- Built and easy to use administration console to add/edit/delete the questions, answers, choices and facts which can be all randomized.
- Provided password protected settings on the iPad which can only be accessed by admin to setup the IP address with which the iPad needs to communicate to local server.
- Provided functionality in backend for admin to reset the game if ever needed.
