QA will be responsible for creating, implementing and automating testing for applications created by Benchmark. The QA Engineer will design, document and implement test plans for products / consulting projects, report and manage defects, assist with replicating and debugging problems and develop test automation solutions. Some of the QA responsibilities will include:
Document issues with environments in our knowledge base
Create and maintain documentation for QA procedures
Manage all issues in issue tracking system, triage bug reports and even fix easy bugs
Own the release and build process
Document process for releases (for other engineers)
Verify documentation for each release is complete
Maintain unit test suites (and manage engineers who are doing unit testing)
Deliver QA and testing reports to professional services clients
Make recommendations on areas of process improvement
